Amy Culbertson, beloved sister, devoted daughter, loyal cousin, and valued friend, passed away on March 30, 2024 after fighting a long difficult battle against ocular melanoma.
Amy Culbertson, beloved sister, devoted daughter, loyal cousin, and valued friend, passed away on March 30, 2024 after fighting a long difficult battle against ocular melanoma. Her ebullient personality and spirited nature, belied a lifetime struggle with a systemic chronic illness. Undeterred by her ailment, she bounded through life, exuding good will and positive energy at every turn.
Her unquenchable thirst for knowledge resulted in her attaining a Masters of Science and Bachelor of Science Degrees from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, as well as being trained as an Integrated Health Coach from Duke University, and as a Professional Coach from the Office of Personal Management Internal Coach Training Program. Her most recent position was Assistant Director of Performance Management, Department of Homeland Security, Program Analysis and Evaluation.
Amy had numerous plans for the future that were tragically cut short by her sudden demise. She will be greatly missed.
